Omaha, Neb. — Claas of America announces that MirTech Harvest Center will begin operations at the Boyle, Miss., location of Thompson Agriculture and will distribute all Claas products in portions of Mississippi and Tennessee. The Boyle store is MirTech’s fourth Harvest Center location in the Delta and will become its Mississippi headquarters, further expanding the customer service and technical support offered by the dealership and Claas.
“We are very appreciative to Thompson Agriculture and thankful for their commitment to Claas and their customers in the Mississippi area,” said Claas of America President and GM - Sales Eric Raby. “We value all our dealers as we would not be where we are today without them. We are committed to continual work with our dealers to see them grow in their existing markets and also into new areas. As such, we are excited to now see MirTech grow on the other side of the Mississippi River!”
Both Thompson Ag and MirTech have been and continue to be committed to the success of all customers by working closely together to ensure a smooth transition. MirTech will continue to sell and offer full-service for the Claas long line of equipment, including LEXION combines, XERION and AXION tractors, JAGUAR forage harvesters and balers and hay tools. MirTech will also offer customer training and 24/7 in-field support to growers in the area.
MirTech Harvest Center is a large dealer group with an existing multi-location operation in Eastern Europe and a long-standing history with Claas. Their resources and experience have allowed them to quickly step into the Delta region, an important location for current and future Claas customers. In addition to Boyle, Miss., MirTech also has centers in Jonesboro, Ark.; Sikeston, Mo.; and Stuttgart, Ark., all strategically located to optimally service customers in the important corn, soybean and rice growing areas.
“We are very excited to expand into an area that has so many familiar characteristics to our Arkansas and Missouri locations,” said MirTech General Sales Manager Tom Livingston. “We recognize and appreciate Thompson Agriculture for building such a strong Claas community. The importance of product support to our customers is our main focus and MirTech Harvest Center is committed to carrying on that outstanding support. We look forward to meeting and servicing growers in the area.”
