A fire at Waupan Equipment’s Watertown, Wis., store is estimated to have caused $1.1 million in damage on Monday, Feb. 25.
Waupan Equipment is a two store dealership that carries the New Holland and Massey Ferguson lines of farm machinery. Its other location is in Waupun, Wis.
According to the local fire chief, the source of the fire was an oil burner in one of the dealership’s buildings.
Waupan Equipment was first opened in 1969. The Watertown location was acquired by Greg Kast in 2006.
