The June report from Brazil’s Anfavea says that farm tractor sales in May fell 9.5% year-over-year, with 2,562 units sold. At the same time, sales were up 2.6% compared to the previous month, when 2,495 units were registered. The unit sales volume in May 2018 was 2,832. The accumulated volume during the first 5 months of this year was 11,822 tractors vs.12,241 units sold during the January-May period last year, a drop of 3.4%.
