In the year that Escorts, the Indian tractor and construction machinery business, finished paying off historical debts to a former supplier, the group saw revenues climb 23.5% above the prior 12 month period.
Agricultural tractors and implement sales grew 20% to the equivalent of $665 million to remain the biggest earner for Escorts, accounting for 77% of group revenues that hit $868 million in the 2018-19 financial year to the end of March.
