Indianapolis, Ind. — John Deere is recalling its compact utility tractors due to an increased risk of injury.
According to the Consumer Product and Safety Commission, the front cab support bolts were installed improperly, increasing the chance it will fail during a rollover and posing a crushing injury hazard to the operator.
This recall involves green and yellow compact utility tractors with “John Deere” and the model numbers 4044R, 4052R or 4066R printed on the hood.
John Deere is recommending that any consumer with the tractor get it repaired immediately.
