Cecil Johnson and the Johnson family announces the acquisition of Johnson Implement and Brady Implement Companies by Quality Implement Co. Johnson Implement Co. has been the local John Deere owned and operated by the Johnson family since 1940 and has owned and operated Brady Implement Company in Brady since 1992.

"It was a hard decision to make, but we believe it is the best for the business and for our customers. John Deere’s outlook to the future is to larger dealers with multi locations. With a larger organization there will be more resources to better serve our customers," Johnson says.

Quality Implement has headquarters in Munday, Texas and locations in Abilene, Stamford, Seymore, Rotan, Texas, and Frederick, Okla. Quality is also a family orientated business owned by the Reed Family and have been a John Deere dealer since 1955.

The change of ownership is expected to be made in mid-March. Cecil Johnson will be retiring but all other employees will stay on at the dealership and look forward to continuing serving their customers.
