COVID-19 continues to impact communities across the country, and Vermeer Corporation has released a statement about their operations:
“While Vermeer equipment and customers serve markets deemed critical to daily life by the Department of Homeland Security, these markets are seeing a softening as are many industries around the world. In response, today Vermeer announced plans to balance production demand by scheduling intermittent week-long shutdowns across individual U.S. facilities.”
“While there is no playbook on how to manage through a world-wide crisis, Vermeer is committed to making decisions that keep our business and our workforce as healthy and whole as possible, not just today, but long into the future.”
