Sterling, Kansas – KMW Ltd. announces the appointment of Wayne Buchberger as managing director effective May 2020. Buchberger succeeds Michael H. Bender who served as president and primary owner of the company for many years and who will be entering retirement after a long and successful tenure with the company. Bender will continue to be an owner and member of the board of directors of KMW. 

"Wayne is a well-seasoned and proven executive with a strong background in both the tractor and implements equipment manufacturing sectors. His extensive industry relationships and leadership approach make him an ideal choice," said Bender.

KMW, one of North America’s leading front end loader as well as backhoe manufacturers, and Wilhelm STOLL Maschinenfabrik GmbH (STOLL) based in Germany, began working together in 2015. Together they have both continued to grow their business now with broader manufacturing and distribution capabilities around the world. The combined companies have three manufacturing facilities in Kansas, as well as three manufacturing locations in Europe. Together they employ over 600 people, and produce tens of thousands of whole goods units for customers every year, and that number continues to grow.
