According to a report from Profi, both the Rabe brand and its factory in Bad Essen have been purchased by ZWL Holding, a German-Asian group of investors.

The group plans to restart production soon and intends to keep it under the Rabe logo. It is reported the group is also considering starting production of construction and municipal equipment.

Rabe filed for insolvency in self-administration in August 2019, a process that allows a business in financial difficulty to retain possession and control of its assets while undergoing reorganization.
