Altorfer announces that property has been secured for a new full service ag facility in West Branch, Iowa, with construction to begin this spring. The new ag facility will be located in the industrial park, on the southeast corner of the I-80 and West Branch interchange, exit 254.
Pat Puntoni, vice president of Altorfer’s ag division, says the new facility will help address the growing demand in Altorfer’s southeast Iowa sales territory.
"A full service ag location in Iowa has been part of our strategic plan for a long time," says Puntoni, "and now is the time for us to execute in order to take care of the influx of business we’ve experienced. We want customers to know we are committed to the ag business and plan to be here for a long time."
Puntoni adds that the location for the new facility has outstanding road access, and is centrally located in Altorfer’s southeast Iowa territory.
"We are excited to come to West Branch. Interstate 80 is within a half mile, and there are good local, county and state roads in the area, giving prime access to the property from all directions," says Puntoni. "West Branch also falls right along our current parts shuttle route, and is in a 60 mile radius of 25 of the 26 counties we cover in Iowa."
The West Branch location will be a full service farm equipment dealership, representing the Challenger, RoGator, TerraGator, SpraCoupe, Willmar and LEXION brands. When complete, the current ag parts store in Cedar Rapids will move to this location and join Altorfer Inc.’s three present ag facilities in Clinton, Dix and Rock Falls, Ill..
