Bane Equipment and North Central Agri-Power have combined forces to become one company called Bane-Welker Equipment. The new partnership ensures Bane-Welker customers will experience the very best the brand has to offer.
Separately the two companies, Bane Equipment and North Central Agri-Power, both provided customers with superior service and product offerings. Bane Equipment had an impressive 46-year history of providing for customers in Crawfordsville, Wingate, Lebanon, Remington, Pendleton and Terre Haute. North Central Agri-Power boasted a 42-year history and served the Plymouth and Winamac markets in Northern Indiana. Now that the two companies have become Bane-Welker Equipment, they can offer customers even more.
The founders of Bane-Welker have deep roots in the communities they serve and are committed to the success of their customers.
“This is very exciting news,” stated Phil Bane, chief executive officer of the new Bane-Welker Equipment. “As farmers across the country consolidate, equipment dealers must expand their customer bases. That can be a challenge for many, but we’ve found a way to make it work for everyone,” Bane explained. “Consolidating our efforts allows for a broader base of parts, service and whole goods. And it allows all of us to continue doing what we love to do, serve our customers.”
The move came about not only because of a need to evolve in the marketplace, but because of a commitment to bring customers the very best in parts, sales and service. Both companies independently have always provided great customer service. Now that they have combined, the main goal every day is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. And that’s not just lip service; Bane-Welker really means it.

We farm too,” stated Norm Welker, chief operating officer of Bane-Welker Equipment. “We have a true understanding of the needs and the challenges of our customers because we have experienced it too,” explained Welker. “If they don’t succeed, neither do we. It’s important to both Phil and I that our customers understand how much we truly care about their bottom line. It’s our pledge to help them in any way possible.”

Customers can count on the same great service including daily parts trucks deliveries, on-farm signature service and deliveries, the addition of MacDon products, and a dedicated spray center. Customers can also count on several new benefits, such as the Bane Select brand. Bane Select offers low prices on necessary items like DEF, batteries and oil.
“Our customers should know that this is just the first step for us,” stated Bane. “We have several projects in the works and plan to continue to grow, improve and evolve to meet the needs of our customers. That is our commitment.”
Bane-Welker will begin to hold open house events after the first of the year at all locations.
