After less than 10 years since introducing Lemken equipment to important regions for arable farming in the U.S., Lemken, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of tillage, seeding and crop care equipment, has made the move to become a full-fledged U.S. subsidiary. Curtis Schaben has been leading Lemken USA as Managing Director since August 1, 2021. His first tasks will include setting up a new location for Lemken USA by the end of 2021.

Curtis Schaben grew up on a farm in western Iowa. He began his career by studying Agricultural Systems Technology at Iowa State University. He then acquired extensive knowledge of the U.S. agricultural machinery market in management positions at various well-known U.S. agricultural machinery manufacturers. 

With these many years of experience and his in-depth knowledge of the market, Curtis Schaben is ideally placed to strengthen Lemken's market position in the USA and further increase sales. The new Managing Director will be supported by a team of seven employees and one agent.
