Jaycox Implement of Lake Park, Iowa, and Worthington, Minn., has closed on the acquisition of Mark Jacobson of Luverne, Minn., according to Chad Jaycox, president of Jaycox Implement.
“This will bring us to 3 stores,” Jaycox told Farm Equipment. “We plan to change the name of our new Luverne location to Jaycox Implement.”
Jaycox is a full service Case IH dealership located in northwest Iowa. The dealership also carries Ag Leader, Art’s Way, Balzer, Brent, Cub Cadet, Demco, Hardi, Hiniker, J&M, Sudenga, Westendorf and Westfield brands of farm machinery.
About the new location, Jaycox says, “We feel that Mark Jacobson has had a strong presence in the Luverne, Minn., area supporting the Case IH brand for the past 50-plus years, and we hope to build on this heritage. The Luverne location fits well with our two current stores as Lake Park, Iowa, is located 30 miles southeast of of Worthington, Minn., and the new Luverne store is located 30 miles west of Worthington.”
