In a fact sheet released July 14, the U.S. Department of the Treasury specified that there are no U.S. sanctions against "the exportation of agricultural equipment and spare parts to Russia."
The statement also clarified the following is also not prohibited by U.S. sanctions:
- the exportation of agricultural commodities from, to, transiting, or related to Russia
- the exportation of fertilizer from, to, transiting, or related to Russia
- U.S. financial institutions processing transactions related to the exportation of agricultural commodities to, from, transiting, or related to Russia
