CEMA's general business climate index rose to a reading of 36 in February from a reading of 30 in January. The report said that, "A slowdown in demand is not in sight in the short term and in addition to a strong demand side, now, finally, considerable easing is arriving on the supplier side."

Respondents reported an average production time of 6.9 months, an all-time high in the 16 years the survey has been conducted.
