A.C. McCartney Farm Equipment has entered into an agreement to purchase Kuhns Equipment Co. Mt. Sterling, Ill., Massey Ferguson dealership location.

The purchase will be effective November 1 and will add a fourth dealership under the A.C. McCartney umbrella.

A.C. McCartney is a family owned business that was started in 1950 and based in Durand. The company specializes in agriculture and consumer equipment sales and service. In addition to its Durand location, A.C. McCartney also operates dealerships in Wataga, Ill., and Carthage, Ill.
