The governor of the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, Tarcisio de Freitas, recently said during an ag show that he will extend the tax exemptions for the purchase of agricultural machinery. The total amount of exemptions equals nearly $107 million. “This is a recognition that the agricultural sector has invested in our state and country non-stop,” he said.
