North American large ag equipment unit retail sales rebounded in April with a 12.8% year-over-year increase compared to a 3.1% decline in March, according to the latest data from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers. By category, row-crop tractors were up 9.1%, 4WD tractors were up 19.7% and combines improved 21.9%.
U.S. dealer inventories were down year-over-year in 2WD tractors but up 36.4% in 4WD tractors. U.S. dealer inventories of combines were flattish.
