Lake City, Ga. – Atlantic & Southern Equipment LLC acquired the operating assets of Bridges Equipment in Brinson, Ga., as of June 14th, 2024.

Atlantic & Southern Equipment is now a 10 location AGCO and Link-Belt Crane Dealer that serves Georgia, Alabama, North & South Carolina, and Tennessee; AGCO Full Line branches include Tifton, Ga.; Dothan, Ala.; Goldsboro and Williamston, N.C. Atlantic & Southern started in 2001 as a Link-Belt Crane Dealer in Atlanta, Ga, later in 2009 the company entered the agriculture equipment business in Tifton, Ga., selling AGCO products, most notably known for Massey Ferguson, RoGator, Challenger and now Fendt.

Bridges Equipment has served the South Georgia market in Brinson, Ga., as tractor repair company that specializes in Amadas products and tractor repairs. John Sr., John Jr., and Bill Bridges started the company in June 1990, when Amadas came out with a 4-row peanut picker. The Bridges have run a commercial farm in Brinson since 1980 and are continuing to farm with the next generation of their family.

Atlantic & Southern Equipment will bring the full product line up from AGCO of Massey Ferguson & Fendt Products, with the inclusion of the Fendt Ideal Combine. Parts and service for all Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and other legacy AGCO brands will be available in the Brinson store. In addition, the Amadas product line will be available for sale and product support.
