Titan Machinery (NASDAQ:TITN) announced today that it has opened a new Case Construction Equipment dealership in Williston, North Dakota. The company also announced the relocation of its Case Construction dealership in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to a higher traffic location in Center Point, Iowa. The relocated dealership has been expanded to carry Case IH Agriculture Equipment in addition to Case Construction Equipment.
Located in northwest North Dakota, the company's Williston dealership is well-positioned to benefit from increasing activity surrounding the Bakken Formation. North Dakota is now the country's fourth largest oil producing state, which creates growth opportunities including the need for additional infrastructure, expansion of new housing, as well as other support industries. The Williston dealership is located between the Company's existing construction stores in Minot, North Dakota and its dealerships in Montana.
The company made the strategic decision to expand and relocate its Cedar Rapids, Iowa store to Center Point, Iowa. Given the success of the company's existing agriculture equipment dealerships in Iowa and the productive agriculture land in the surrounding areas, Titan decided to leverage its brand and operations to include Case IH Agriculture Equipment in addition to its full line of Case Construction Equipment offerings.
David Meyer, Titan Machinery's Chairman and CEO, said, "We are excited about our new dealership in Williston and our expanded and relocated store in Center Point. Williston is an ideal location to grow our construction presence, as we will be able to capitalize on the robust opportunities created by the energy and mining resource rich land in Western North Dakota.
Regarding our Center Point relocation, our new dealership is located just 15 miles from our original store. We enjoy serving our construction customers in the area and look forward to continuing to provide them with the superior selection and service that we always strive to achieve at our Titan dealerships. With our expanded new store, we are pleased to have the opportunity to begin serving the local farmers as well. Iowa is an extremely important agriculture state, and we stand to benefit from strong demand for our farm equipment and supporting parts and service offerings."
