Dillsburg Ag Service of Rantoul, Ill., co-owned by Tony Cler and Stacy Severins, will be joining Birkey’s Farm Store. Cler will assume the role of service manager at the Urbana Birkey’s location while Severins will become a road service technician, also at Urbana. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of February.
As a former Birkey’s employee, Cler said he is excited to continue current customer relationships and reconnect with other Urbana customers. “I look forward to continue providing exceptional service and the best customer experience with the added resources and technology available through Birkey’s. Additionally, it’ll be a good move for my family and allow me to work with my friends at the Urbana location again.”
Severins is eager to update his CNH factory training certifications and have access to the latest Case IH technology and resources. To him, it’s all about finding the perfect balance between technology and relationships. “I am excited to be able to continue doing the work I love, but in a state-of-the art facility with CNH service tools. This will allow us to take care of the customer to the fullest extent.”
Mike Hedge, Birkey’s president and CEO, said, “We look forward to growing relationships and serving customers in this area that is mutually beneficial to both companies. We believe that our success has always been centered on our ability to recognize the customers’ needs. The addition of the team at Dillsburg Ag will allow us to expand our service capabilities in Urbana and continue upholding our mission to consistently serve your needs and exceed your expectations.”
Customers of Birkey’s in Urbana are invited to an open house on Friday, February 27th to meet Tony and Stacy, along with the rest of Birkey’s team. Dinner will begin at 4pm. Read the full details at birkeys.com/partsdays.
