Paladin Brands has announced plans to join its light construction and heavy construction companies to form one attachment company, Paladin Construction Group. The Dexter, Michigan based company includes the brands of Bradco, JRB, Sweepster, C&P, CustomWorks, FFC, Harley and McMillen.
Combining the brands into one large company provides greater efficiencies for Paladin and more attachment choices for customers. The new company offers hundreds of couplers and attachments for all makes and models of skid steers, wheel loaders, excavators, tractor-loader backhoes and tractors. Paladin Construction Group’s manufacturing and warehousing facilities include plants in Dexter, Michigan; Akron, Ohio; Delhi, Iowa; and Ooltewah, Tennessee.
The new company implemented a long-term, contractor-focused support program called “Back 2 Work with Paladin.” The program aims to help contractors capitalize and profit from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s (ARRA) $143.4 billion in infrastructure investment.
The two-year program helps contractors and dealer/rental companies identify and locate projects at the country level and within specific market segments, where ARRA funds are most targeted. As part of the program, Paladin offers contractors up to a $500 rebate when they purchase one or more Paladin brand attachments.
The program launched at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition 2009 show in Louisville, Ky., in October and will extend through the ConExpo-Con/Agg Show in March 2011.
