From conversations with ag equipment suppliers, Linamar is continuing to extend its automotive supply, or what was known as a “purchasing warrior,” strategy.
Linamar Corp. announced Dec. 20 an agreement to acquire Canadian implement manufacturer Bourgault Industries out of St. Brieux, Sask., for C$640 million.
In its 2022 earnings released March 8, Linamar, which owns the MacDon and Salford equipment lines, reported $7.9 billion in revenue, up 21.1% year-over-year. Revenue for 4Q22 came in at $2.1 billion.
