Alamo Group announced that on May 20 the strike that began on April 14 by unionized workers at its subsidiary, Gradall Industries in New Philadelphia, Ohio, has ended. 

Farmer sentiment plunged in April as the Purdue University-CME Group Ag Economy Barometer fell 15 points below a month earlier to a reading of 99. 

The press release cited staff shortages and an uncertain agricultural market as reasons the company is leaving the large ag equipment business.
