According to Ag Equipment Intelligence’s research report “Chinese Tractor Market: Analysis & Forecast” released on July 1, annual 41-100 horsepower tractor sales in China are forecast to reach over 1.6 million by 2026.
So far, so good for North American tractor and combine sales during the first 6 months of 2018. The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) attributes improving tractor and combine sales to both replacement needs and the farmers’ expectation that the ag market will improve further down the road.
Hay and grain harvest specialist Claas continues to invest in the tractor business it acquired from Renault in 2003 as it seeks to gain efficiencies and grow market share.
