According to a report from ETAuto, the company reported tractor sales up 2% year-over-year last month, with 24,017 units sold, compared to 23,539 sold in May 2019.
Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has announced it sold 17,213 units of tractors in the domestic market in December 2019, up 4% from 16,510 units recorded in the same month in 2018.
On Sept. 1, the Indian tractor manufacturer announced that its August domestic tractor sales had fallen 15% to 13,871 units, compared to 16,375 units in August 2018. Additionally, Mahindra reported that its tractor exports had also dropped 33% to 946 units in August 2019, compared to 1,410 units in August 2018.
Total tractor sales (includes domestic sales in India and exports) for the month were at 47,376 units vs. 40,562 units during the same period last year.
