With the acquisition of Shearer Implement’s three dealer locations in Ohio, Ag-Pro Companies has raised its total stores to 82 in seven states. Twenty of the locations are in Ohio and all have been acquired since November 2018.
Ag-Pro Companies, already the largest North American farm equipment dealership group based on the number of locations, has not only added 10 new locations but it has expanded its regional influence with the acquisition of Ohio-based JD Equipment.
JD Equipment announced the intent to sell its assets to Ag-Pro Ohio LLC, a subsidiary of Ag-Pro Companies. Ag-Pro Companies has 57 John Deere locations throughout the country.
