UDSA released its Prospective Plantings and Grain Stocks reports on March 31, forecasting increases in planted corn and soybean acreage for 2023, as well as reporting year-over-year decreases in corn and soybean stocks vs. 2022.
In its June 11 World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, USDA lowered its forecast for 2009-10 ending corn stocks to 1.09 billion bushels, from 1.145 billion bushels, driven by lower than expected yields.
