Total Australian ag equipment sales were up 5% year-over-year to $5.9 billion in 2023, according to a recent report from the Tractor and Machinery Assn. of Australia.
New tractor sales were down 7% vs. the 5-year average. Overall value of new units sold increased 1.8%. The 200+ horsepower range decreased 5% year-over-year in terms of units sold and was the only horsepower range to experience an overall sales value increase.
