Alamo Group announced that on May 20 the strike that began on April 14 by unionized workers at its subsidiary, Gradall Industries in New Philadelphia, Ohio, has ended. The approximately 200 workers and Alamo Group reached an agreement on a new 5-year labor agreement. Gradall Industries manufactures wheeled and crawler telescopic excavators.
Alamo Group employs approximately 4,350 employees, according to its annual report filed with the SEC on Feb. 22, 2024.
An April 15 press release from IAM stated, "Gradall members are seeking higher pay increases and more stable health insurance costs."
