An independently owned farm equipment and parts store in Western Wisconsin has been sold. Ron Kaempf has purchased Baier Tractor Parts of rural Menomonie, Wis. The company was started 15 years ago by Allen Baier, who will phase out of the business and retire.
Kaempf, who has been employed at Baier Tractor Parts for the past four years, said he has several goals in mind for expanding the business.
"I hope to offer even more parts and provide my customers with a wider range of inventory and supplies," Kaempf told Wisconsin Ag Connection.
He also plans to install a computer in the show room to educate customers on how to order more of their equipment online directly through the store's various suppliers.
As in the past, Baier Tractor Parts will continue to offer monthly and seasonal specials. And Ron says his three sons will also play an active role in running the day-to-day responsibilities of the business.
