Ag Growth International Inc. today announced that Tim Close has stepped down as president and chief executive officer and resigned as a director of AGI to pursue other opportunities.
Record results were supported by strength across nearly all segments and geographies as the company expanded margins despite supply chain issues, regional disruption in Europe, Middle East and Africa and continued cost inflation pressure.
“Our strong results in the fourth quarter contributed to a record year for 2021 with broad-based strength in Farm, AGI Digital, EMEA, India and AGI Food. We see strong growth opportunities across all of our segments as demand for global food infrastructure remains robust," said AGI President and CEO Tim Close.
Strong demand for AGI’s products across most regions resulted in consolidated trade sales increasing 11% year-over-year for the three-months ended Sept, 30, 2021.
Headquartered in Fargo, N.D., Bushel is a provider of software technology solutions for growers, grain buyers, ag retailers, protein producers and food companies.
Ag Growth International (AGI) finished out the first quarter of 2021 with trade sales of $256 million, up 12% year-over-year, and with a strong outlook for the remainder of the year.
Resilient results in the fourth quarter closed out a year marked with numerous challenges but
substantial strategic progress. The company's investments in building its 5-6-7 diversification strategy contributed to a relatively strong performance given the challenges throughout the year created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Continued robust performance in North American Farm markets, EMEA, Brazil and India was offset by lower results in North American Commercial markets resulting in a record third quarter for sales and adjusted EBITDA despite ongoing COVID-19 challenges.
