Two multi-generation Montana John Deere dealerships are combining forces to provide a greater inventory and more comprehensive services to customers in central, north central and southwest Montana.
According the 2015 edition of the "Big Dealer Report" compiled by Ag Equipment Intelligence and Currie Management Consultants, the total number of dealer groups that own 5 or more stores increased to 188, up from 181 in the previous year.
Starting off 2015, dealers surveyed by Ag Equipment Intelligence and Cleveland Research Co. say that, on average, they’re expecting overall sales to decline 11% for the year. Compared to what the major equipment manufacturers are forecasting, the dealers' outlook appears almost optimistic.

Sloan Implement, a John Deere dealer with locations in southwestern Wisconsin and throughout Illinois, acquired the two Stevens Implement locations in Havana and Petersburg, Ill.
