UK registrations for tractors over 50 horsepower were down for the third month in a row in May. Total registrations were 582 tractors, compared to 1,008 registrations in the same month last year, a decline of 41.9%.
It turns out that the UK tractor market is doing better than official statistics for the first half of 2019 suggested after a glitch was discovered in the process of collating and analyzing registration figures.
Irish farm publication Agriland is reporting that tractor registration data released by the AEA (Agricultural Engineers Assn.) in the UK show that 862 new tractors (over 50 horsepower) were sold during August.
