Pointing to the impact of COVID-19 on farm machinery sales, Mircea (Mig) Dobre, an analyst with RW Baird, said in a note to investors that he was downgrading Deere & Co. to neutral but maintaining his target price ($150).
What drives demand for shortline farm equipment? According to the results of the first Ag Equipment Intelligence-Baird survey of shortline manufacturers, two-thirds of respondents say equipment replacement and/or farm income are the main drivers for sales.
