U.S. sales of ag tractors and combines remained in the plus column for February, according to the latest sales data from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
So far, so good for North American tractor and combine sales during the first 6 months of 2018. The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) attributes improving tractor and combine sales to both replacement needs and the farmers’ expectation that the ag market will improve further down the road.
Large ag equipment sales growth continued in November, although moderated from the highs reported in October to +5%, according to the latest numbers released by the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers.
According to Ag Equipment Intelligence’s monthly Dealer Sentiments survey, since the start of 2017, farm equipment dealers’ year-over-year level of optimism has varied by as much as 42% from one month to the next compared to the prior year.
