The 12 month moving average for 100+ horsepower tractors has been steadily growing for the past 12 months. Monthly retail sales exceeded our forecast by 280 units and year to date retail sales exceed our YTD forecast by 6.2%.
2021 will go down as a banner year for farm equipment sales but it will also be remembered as a very frustrating year for both manufacturers and dealers.
100+ horsepower tractors generated retail sales in November that were 380 units above our monthly forecast and YTD retail sales were 4,079 units, or 24.2% above our YTD forecast.
Retail sales for 100+ horsepower tractors exceeded our monthly forecast by 449 units and the year-to-date total was 2,754 units or 24.2% ahead of our forecast.
Monthly retail sales of 100+ horsepower tractors was 545 units above our monthly forecast while the YTD total retail sales was 2,306 units above our YTD forecast.
