Royal Reesink Buys into Manitoba Claas Dealerships

Royal Reesink announced Friday it has bought a controlling stake in Hepson and has a partnership deal in place with the Kehler family, owners of GenAg. Hepson operates a dealership just north of Brandon; GenAg has two, one at Portage la Prairie and the other between Winkler and Morden.

Brandt Acquires Nortrax in Canada, Adds 13 Locations

The Brandt Group of Companies announced it has reached an agreement to acquire the Deere-owned businesses of Nortrax Canada and Nortrax Quebec. The deal will merge all John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships in Canada under the Brandt banner.

Syngenta Acquires Ag Software Firm Cropio

Syngenta has announced that it has completed the acquisition of all relevant assets of The Cropio Group, an Ag Tech company with a presence in over 50 countries and with a primary focus in Eastern Europe. Approximately 25 million acres of crops are currently managed using Cropio.

Deere Dealer GreenMark Equipment Acquires Godfrey Bros.

Godfrey Bros., a single store John Deere dealership in Jonesville, Mich., announced that it was acquired by GreenMark Equipment on Sept. 1. GreenMark now has 16 locations throughout Southwestern Michigan and Northwestern Indiana.

Western Equipment & Green Country Equipment Announce Merger
